OT PHOTO - the coast at Christmas

Hi Gang;
This is the tiny coastal inlet & harbour of Porth Clais near St Davids. The hill sides are covered in bracken which has died down. The yellow flowered plants on the right side is Gorse.
On the leftside of the river towards the back you can see 2 round stone buildings. These are lime kilns - 100 years ago lime stone was loaded into the open top and a fire burned at the base, this would turn the limestone into lumps of lime which would be crushed and spread onto the fields as a basic fertilizer.
