Engine swap question

If I DO, decide to buy this 4020 gasser with the POSSIBLE BLOWN head gasket. How hard would it be to change it over to a diesel engine?
I mean, I would REALLY rather have a diesel, but form an economic stand point I might need to just bite the bullet and buy this gasser for $3900.00 instead of the diesel for $8500.00 and convert the gas to diesel a year from now if it isn't difficult.
Is this a difficult thing to do?
