Storm is just now getting foothold in Michigan. Temperatures are just below freezing, and precipitation is in the form of sleet and freezing rain south, freezing rain, sleet, changing to snow north. We"re in west-central, and we"re projected to get 6 to 12 inches. I"m predicting less (probably wishful thinking!) Local TV station is showing over 300 closures - takes 45 minutes to scroll thru all of them on the screen. Soon"s I get the chores done I"m going to put the plow on the truck. Wife wants me to take her to work this afternoon - she works 35 miles from home, health care - no one gets a day off whatever the weather. Son attends and works at the community college - it is closed to students and employees. When this ends this afternoon, I have about 4 hours of plowing to do for the church, parsonage, and a couple friends.
