I have a magnet rod, but can't get the end in the opening. Do you think it is just below the opening or fell deeper. Don't know if I can find another small screw like that. If I have to take the distributor off, what's involved with that? I see a line running from the top of the carb mount and a mounting nut on the distributor. If I take it off will this screw up the timing? Thanks.
