Mornin' Guys, The trouble with getting old is (with me anyway) that ya always have the feeling that you're running out of time. :>( Yesterday, I make arrangements to bring in a couple of loads of calves to put on feed this winter; just a young bunch of heifers, which will be the start of our little cattle herd out here in the boonies. Okay, fine. Then, I get to thinking, "Are we really sure that we've got enough feed to make it thru to grass next spring?" and one thought always seems to lead to another. So, here it is the 11th day of October, forecast calling for snow, winter is coming at us like a freight train and you guessed it, today dumb ol' Allan is heading out to the hayfields to scrounge up more alfalfa. Sometimes, I think I'm my own worst enemy. Where's my heavy clothes? Hope one of those old red tractors will start this morning. :>( Allan
