Calcuim Chloride should not be a problem However the number of tractors with ruined rims says otherwise.
Get rid of trouble and use Rim Guard or windshield washer fluid.
CaCh is only used because it's cheap. And it's what Dad, Grand Dad and Great Grand Dad always put in tires. It's 2006, using CaCh is like building a new house without indoor plumbing.
