WD QUITS RUNNING!

I HAVE A WD THAT IS CONVERTED TO ALL 12V EXC. STARTER ACCORDING TO WIRING DIAGRAM I GOT OFF THIS SITE.NEW ALT,SWITCH.IT RECENTLY STARTING CHUGGING THEN QUIT RUNNING AFTER A FEW MINUTES.I REPLACED DIST. CAP,POINTS, ROTOR;DRAINED GAS AND SEDIMENT BOWL,AND IT STILL DOES IT.THE COIL SEEMS TO GET WARM AND I TRIED A DIFFERENT (USED) ONE AND THEN PUT A RESISTER INLINE BEFORE COIL, BUT NOTHING HELPS.IT STARTS AND RUNS GOOD AT FIRST,EVEN AT HIGHER RPM"S BUT THEN JUST GHUG CHUG CHUG AND QUITS.IT USUALLY STARTS RIGHT UP AGAIN AND IDLES BUT DOESN"T HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO MOVE ITSELF.PLEASE HELP WITH ANY IDEAS.GAS RUNS FINE THRU FUEL LINE ALSO!
