A few years ago they parked a b-17 at our local airport overnight enroute to a show somewhere else. Of course word got around it was there, I stopped by after work to see it. An old man was there with his grandkids,I think he had been a mechanic during the war and the stories he was telling the kids were incredible. I sorta followed along listening, I probably learned more in that half hour than any whole day in my life.
