What Is This?

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to gather up enough parts and pieces to strap an old F-10 Farmhand loader on my gas guzzlin' Hydro 70 tractor. This will insure that the tractor remains parked most of the time. :>)

Anyway, this morning I'm scrongin' around and tripped across another "deal". I needed the push-off/grapple control valve and ended up just buying another used loader for about the same money.

But, what is this round gizmo? Is that some kind of a hydraulic filter or something?
