OT-white leaves on pumpkins

grow a few plants for own use, do actually use the tractor here, in late summertime the pumpkin leaves turn white, but still get some pumpkins, seems to be powdery mildew, neighbor is certified organic so I try not to spray it started in just a few plants 2 years ago but this year all plants did it, I have another spot I could use next year if fungus can winter over how long do I wait to re-use this spot??
