Sounds like of baloney to me! Old wives tale form the depression era! Stuff is worth what the buyer and seller agree to make a sale at. And if having what you drive makes a difference why is it those guys with the $30,000 pickups always trying to borrow $20. bucks from me ;)) It will pay off better to be an obsevent looker and be prepared to substaniate your offer of price with the facts not baloney!
