Maybe you can sneak in there and use a long stick to tip the can over away from you so he can walk out on his own. If he doesn't see you there he might just walk away. Put a radio out there to get him used to noise and he might not even notice you there. Good luck. I have been sprayed point blank before. It is not fun.
