Well, an acre is 160 sq. rods

There's 5.5 yards in a rod.

260 / 5.5 = 47.27 rods

275 / 5.5 = 50 rods

50 * 47.27 = 2,363.5 sq. rods

2,363.5 / 160 = 14.77 acres.

(Ok...so I took a 5 mile long walk this morning, followed by doing tree trimming with a pruning pole in 90 degree, muggy weather...and now I really don't feel like doing office work!)
