What my question is what would it take to put a 300 rearend behind a super h motor? The super h is a early 53 model stage 1. My neighbor has a 300 that i could buy at a reasonale price think the ta is ok it has some oil leaks. My super h needs some tranny work also. I have veiwed the archives it seems it wouldn,t be a big job. Another question i have is would i need to change timing gears or would this motor have the heavier gears? It doesn,t have live hydralics. I would like to put the live pump on the h motor. The motor in the 300 is in real bad shape needs complete overhaul. My thinking is that i could have a more modern tractor at not to much cost. Thanks again for your help Delbert.
