Steering broke - maybe, Ford 9N

I have a Ford 9N and it's my first "real" tractor. We were using it and got stuck in some sand. I backed the tractor out of the spot and turned hard right. The sand caught one of the front tires and turn it even harder to the right. Now I have the right side tire turned right when the left tire is straight and vice versa. My question is, do I have to tear apart the whole steering column to fix this? It seems like the steering still works but is just out of alignment. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!! -Tim
