On early model 9N when steering gear is turned to either extreme, this may cause sectors to jump out of mesh. Which can be put back into sinc. without removing steering housing.

You need to find a manual for you 9N, it will give details on how to put back into sinc. I will see if I can get my scanner hooked back up sometime today. Or maybe "Old" can scan page and email it to you...give him something to do.:>)
