You may have sheared a key way up at the front spindle and if so thats why one is turned and the other isn't. Now this is just an educated guess but its also the easiest place to check since its out in the open. Another way to make sure is look at both sides and the arms that come out of the steering box. when one of the tires is stright ahead do the arms on the side line uo whith each other. That is if you could look through the steering box. Hpoe you understand what I'm trying to say. If they are its probably in the spindle area
