The water pump pulley, which has 2 belt grooves for water pump and fan, and a third single belt groove for the AC compressor belt on my MF690 has eaten out some metal along the woodruff key slot. The water pump shaft has the dish shaped side of the woodruff key, and the pulley has the straight cut key way. Dealer said new pulley is $505, which sent me into shock. Pulley MF part number is 745609M1, Perkins part number is 31154281. Question 1. Has anyone ever had a machine cut a new keyway in the pulley, straight 5/32", on the opposite side, away ffrom the wallowed out keyway? The water pump shaft is not an issue as I am replacing the pump. Question 2. Know where to get a used or cheaper pulley? Many thanks for help. Tom
