The key words in your post"Pressure Treated" and "Pine" are significant . Why treat it at all? The Mfg. cared enough to use Wood that has had a controlled treatment according to Law . You fail to tell if the Pine is Yellow ,which I tend to think it is with out seeing it . If so Southern Yellow Pine Pressure Treated will last a long time.My take is leave it alone. You may be in for a surprise if you treat on top of Pressure treated as what ever you are going to use after the fact probably will not penetrate and will wash off.My suggestion is leave it alone.
