my great-grandfather's tractor found!

My cousin called the other day from eastern Colorado and said he had located my great-grandfather's jd d tractor. Seems it was bought with the help of some coupons my uncle got after serving in world war 2. Anyway, he asked if I wanted it to restore. Hmmm. I didn't have to think much about that answer. Guess later this summer I'll head from nc to co with a flatbed...
Anyone know about those war coupons?
