Congratulations! Due to rationing of fuel, rubber and some metals, coupons were used to limit how much each of those elements families could "consume". The tractor was probably partly purchased with coupons, maybe so he could get it on rubber instead of steel or maybe he traded some fuel coupons for it? When my Mom and Dad were married both families pooled some of their fuel coupons so they could go on their honeymoon. We should ration fuel now and get those big-haired wimmens with the cell phones glued to their ears out of those SUV's! ll
