Well hey there buddy. Yea, it also nice to met yea. I have not met anybody off of this site before. I was surprised when you came and said that you were who you are. Caught me off guard. Yea, I will have to check that out and see how that helps. I have a parts catalog for my tractor and the only clip I see holding anything in is futher back in the rear end and it holds the axle in. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
