Good to meet you at the Steam show in Pawnee. Too bad it was so rainy. I don't know much about your problem but I know if you go to the search block at the top of the farmall page and type in `axle seal' there are some 240's there and there was a pretty good one with some detail on a 300U don't know how similar they are but hope this helps.
