Hello everybody. I was wondering if anybody here has torn off the rear wheel on like a international 240 utility or something that might be similar? I can get the wheel off no problem but the hub is stuck on there. Is there a keeper ring or anything that holds that on? Would it be smart to apply heat to it or will that cause more problems? I would like to change the wheel seal on that side cause it leaks. Thanks for your time. Darin

Hi Darin Good to meet you at the Steam show in Pawnee. Too bad it was so rainy. I don't know much about your problem but I know if you go to the search block at the top of the farmall page and type in `axle seal' there are some 240's there and there was a pretty good one with some detail on a 300U don't know how similar they are but hope this helps.
Tom

Well hey there buddy. Yea, it also nice to met yea. I have not met anybody off of this site before. I was surprised when you came and said that you were who you are. Caught me off guard. Yea, I will have to check that out and see how that helps. I have a parts catalog for my tractor and the only clip I see holding anything in is futher back in the rear end and it holds the axle in. Thanks for the post and take care bud. Talk to you again. Darin
