We had a Continental belly mower on a MF 135 once and it was okay if you stayed on everything flat and level. Go through a ditch or gully and high center or catch the rear frame on a high spot and you are stuck. It was such a pain to put on and off that it was dedicated to just mowing in summertime. It was easier to get close to things with it though. With a rear mower you can raise to clear high spots and keep the tractor usable for many other things also. Might also want turf tires with a belly mower tractor too because you will be turning sharper and bar tread will rip out a lawn turning sharp.
