Rusty: I know what your saying. I had a guy clean up and do a paint job on my SA about 15 years ago. About 1 year later it turned a purple-pink. I questioned what he used, turns out it was Candy Apple Red. You can see it in Photo gallery, I've since taken a spray can to the sheet metal, just wanted to cover were his paint didn't stay on, thus keep it from rusting. My spray can job on the sheet metal looks better than the chassis.
