If you take strap of steel with three holes first hole is pivot point. Middle hole is for cylinder. Hole on other end for what you want to move . Hole for cylinder should be closer to the move hole not pivot. Practice with a wood ruler to determine where to put cylinder to get 5" of movement with other end locked in place.
