Threaded Aluminium

O/T .I have a motorhome w3ith a stripped thread in the adjusting bolt hole that holds the alternator belt tensioned, Aluminium Engine Block .Question , The thread is still useable but the tension slips , Is there a fix without trying to ram an oversize bolt in the hole.?. Like to keep as original as possible. Thanks
