Before I Do This

Mornin' Guys, I know I'm picky and all that, but some things just strike me as being wrong. I'm running into a lot of "Farmer Engeenering" on this old tractor. Anyway, I'm replacin' all the heater hoses that the prior owner had on this oil cooler. Needless to say, they sprung a leak. :>) The oulets on the cooler are pointing up and the hoses were "looped" over and then down to their inlet pipes at the lower left of the radiator. Shouldn't the hinges and latch assembly of the cooler be reversed and the cooler assembly "flipped", so that the cooler pipes are on the other side and pointing down with the cooler opening from right to left? Anybody out there own one of these old dogs? Allan
