I run 15-40w farm duty in all my ford tractors-- 8n, 600, 861. Haven't had any problems. My thing was I ran 30w in the summer and 10w in the winter. The problem was I never really put that many hours on them to change oil all the time. So I change them every 2 years or when it looks like its getting dirty. Lets face it, my 8n MIGHT get 10 hours on it a year, so is it really worth changing it... NO! Just my .02
