I have a 300 Farmall that is doing the same thing.This past week I had that tractor running like a sewing machine and today I went to the barn and started it and it poped and sputtered bad. I have owned this tractor 3 years and it has always had a slight miss, I tried everything--new wires, new plugs, motor overhaul,complete head overhauled--put on different carb--had timing checked, have had the carb off and on at least 20 times and it's about to drive me up the wall.--I still believe both the carbs I have are bad and thats where my trouble is.It could also be a a small hole or crack in the manifold--dont know--al bane
