Ampli Torc info please

I have no experence with a tractor with ampli torc. What are the most common things that go wrong with it? I have a book that tells how to adjust the ampli torc. The tractor is a MM 335 and before I buy it I would like to ask those who have used one if they liked or hated the tractor. If I buy the tractor it would be used to maple sap for syrup and the wood to boil the sap.
