The "Top Line" generic works pretty well for us. We usually use pour on in the spring and injectible in the fall. In OK, the generic costs about 1/4 as much as the name brand. Usually you can get product with a pretty good shelf life to cut down on the number of trips you have to make. Also, try www.Valleyvet.com - I have had good luck ordering product from them. Also, the BovishieldGold is a good preventitive to give your calves. We usually give the first shot in the spring as small calves and give them another shot at weaning time. And any heifers we retain for replacement heifers, we give them a third booster of it 30 days prior to breeding and we give our momma cows a booster of it once a year prior to turning the bulls in. Our breeding rate since starting this process has been over 95%. Just my .02 worth.
