I see our barn cats eating several snakes a year. The amuunt of stuff those cats catch amazes me. The catch a ton of squirells which is nice since then I don't have to worry about the fruit trees. I would believe several cats would kill a rattler. I've watched three cats kill a full grown groundhog. I'll tell you what, I am waiting to see those cats try either a turkey or a deer next. I think they could do it.
