OT: Chevy 1500HD or 2500HD

Ok, so I have been shopping, and I finally figured out that I want a GM vehicle, crew cab, short bed 4wd. So, I am trying to compare these two, but I am having trouble finding the differences. If someone could help, I would appreciate it. Also, does anyone have an answer for why they don't have fuel numbers listed for the 2500HD? Or is it the thing that if you can afford the truck, you can afford the fuel? So, if someone can help me, please, I need it to figure out what is going on.
