What is the trick to repairing fuel guage on 2030 diesel. I replaced the sending unit in the tank with a NEW unit from my JD dealer. (0 ohms empty tank 30 ohms full)He insists it is the right one for my tractor. I have tried three different guages in the dash and they all act the same. With the tank FULL the guage shows 1/4, thats as high as it will go. Part numbers on all three guages are the same and JD dealer insists they are the right ones for a 2030. I have checked all wiring for grounds, shorts, etc. and can"t find anything wrong. Can anybody suggest what to check next?
