Actually John Deere insiders only own .04% of the outstanding stock. There is very little effect they could have on the stock price as to when they were buying and selling. There were some sales by insiders back in July but not very much. The key for the drop in their price appears to be that they are not meeting sales targets based on low demand due to weather related issues per the company.
