I don't know why, but this reminds me of the early 70's when I was in the model A" Ford club. We had an older feller that was at every meeting. And after everything was hashed out, the guy would ask if he could say a few words to the members. And he did this at every meeting. You would hear people in the back of the room saying, aw SHUTT" here we go again. The old gentleman would get the floor, and ask the same question that he had asked a thousand times before. Has anyone ever put a tilt cab on a model A? Then under the same breath he would answer his own question, well I have". After hearing this over and over for what seemed like forever, some of us went over to his house to see this tilt cab model A. As it turned out, it didn't tilt that I could tell, it was the running gear with the body mounted 5-6 foot above on stilts from the scrap heap. Everything had extensions welded on, clutch, brake and gear shift. It looked like a death trap with a ladder, and the guy had only been working on this rig for 15-20 years, and he died before he ever got to road test the thing. And now, some where, the guy is still making folks say, Aw SHUTT" here we go again.

It was an Allis-Chalmers tractor dealership,
