Field corn will use .8 - 1.2 lbs of N per bu of corn produced. It will also use 20-40 lbs of P & K for the year. 10-10-10 will either short you on N or overload your soil with P & K if you don't balance things out at times with more straight N. Depends on manure used, crop rotation, plowdown clover, etc. The 10-10-10 at 100-150 lbs per acre is a pretty good starter tho. --->Paul
