Short, My new style 97 (built in June of 96} Ford F-150 SC 4.6 V8 Auto,4x4,3.55 gears, long bed. Still pulls a trailer very well, Runs like a Bat out of Hades, Gets high 14s to low 16s depending on how crappy the gasoline is. I bought this truck when it was 1 yr old in June of 97. It had 12,500 miles on it. It was a program truck that the original owner opted to get out early). She turned 280,000 last weekend. I only run Chevron Delo 400 15x40 oil too. No engine work except a set of coil packs, plugs and wired at 67K miles. A second set of plugs and wires at 220k. Rearend gurnaded @ 217k. Absolutly this has been the best pickup I have ever owned! ! ! ! Only thing I would change on next pickup is I will go DSL instead of gas. Later, John A.
