To me dealerships mean everything when it comes to buying a tractor. If I can't readily get parts the tractor isn't the right color no matter what color it is. A number of years ago the local John Deere dealer closed. It opened about a year to year and a half later under new ownership, but the damage/reputation had been done as far as I was concerned. I bought a Ford since they had the most solid dealership. With the majority of the Amish and Mennonites around operating Fords I figured the dealer would be around a long time. Sorry to hear that you lost your dealer. I personally think that was the demise of Minneapolis Moline, lack of dealerships.
