Removal of ratchet starter drive from starter shaf

I have a 52 8n that had a starter with the new ratchet style drive on it. Long story short the gear on the drive exploded and now I am trying to figure out how to replace it. Unlike the older spring loaded bendix which you depress to remove pin from the the drive/starter shaft. This ratchet style has no decernable way of removing the pin to take it off the shaft. Could someone please inform me the technique for removing this
drive. I have searched the archives but can't seem to find the answer. Thanks
