I dont know your final intentions with the tractor and you may hate this idea but here goes.The silver aluminum GE silicone[home center] sealer in the large tubes works well for this.I have used it on Sportster primary chain cases for years with no leaks if I prep the surface oil free.Once it dries I pull off the squeezed out excess.Nobody can tell its not cork underneath once in place.No apologies required for me on the straw dispute or anything else on these forums.All interesting reading and entertainment to me.Pictures are great too.
