Howdy folks, After droppin some of my dirty laundry in here I hope that y'all will not think too badly about me. Anyway, we just got off the horn with the local JD man about my parts for the '51 R. This is the fella that would go fetch a stick if it meant helpin you out so I know he did all he could to find what I needed. In any case, one important thing was not available...the valve cover gasket. These things are cork material so I can't easily replicate it with simple gasket material. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? There aren't any places out there that sell cork material, are there? I appreciate the help and again, sorry for bringin my straw dispute in here and gettin you guys all dirty. God bless. --old fashioned farmer
