Hello to all, first I would like to state how cool tractors are, I have been on a tractor kick for a couple of months now. Ok I have purchased a ford 335 Industrail with a loader and 3 pt hitch. Its a 3 cylinder gas that runs great and had my mecanic check it over before buying it. Ok now yesterday I was stuck in some deep mud, and after some time I figured I could pull myself out with the loader by putting the bucket down and moving the bucket backwards....thus moving the tractor forward. I did this about 10 times and was on a great pace for getting out of my predicament...at the end it seemed like the bucket started loosing strength...It wouldn't pull the tractor forward ???? I got out and parked the tractor for a day. Today I tried the same thing to test the hydrolics and all seemed well used the down pressure to lift the front of the tractor about 10 times, and used the bucket to pull the tractor forward with no probs.... Does this make any sence??? also what causes the hydrolic whine sound? seems like that sound is around when it lost strength? Anyone know what I should do??? I am from Toronto where there are NO TRACTORS, thus I can't just call a friend and ask as they still can't beleive I think tractors are cool nevermind I know own one! Thanks guys and this is a great board for guys like me!

A Question for Dads This recent topic from the Tractor Talk discussion board is being highlighted because it is an awesome display of the caliber of individuals that have made this site their own. The young person asking questions received positive feedback and advice from total strangers who "told it like it is" with the care many reserve for their own kids. The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
