The torque limiter backs off the Chev gas & diesel's engine's mid range output. The idea is to present a smooth flat power band to the driver. And limit driveline stress at peak torque.
If you get the software and patch cord from www.hptuners.com . You can reduce the torque mamagement table by 50%, turn off the abuse mode and max out the max engine torque vs. gear table to 640 .
The next time on the throttle will put the rear tires up in smoke on pavement.
