Astro I have always poured a little diesel fuel or kerosene (you can buy gunk cleaner at most auto parts ) on them and used a pressure washer, you can put the machine in the sun or take an air hose and blow of any moisture if that worries you , lots of tractors have been out in the rain with no ill effects.
