John, I"m afraid I would have to announce very publicly that if my congressman "didnt have the time" to even review my request, that I would find time to vote for anyone else but him in his next election. remember, little men can talk loud even in a congressmans office. Theres nothing wrong with being heard. While your Dad may not have been highly decorated, he obviously did earn some medals. Perhaps his outfit would have records, and be able to point you in the right direction. Just make sure that if the direction includes going to your congressman, that you point that out to him the next time you face him. Perhaps a reminder of who he works for may be in order.
