I know this will probably start a war and I'll be the villian, but I really would like some comparitive information. At my job we use a bunch of small 25-50 hp diesels. These are 2 and 4 cylinder liquid cooled engines used for severe duty golf course mowing. The majority of them are Kubota engines. What I would like to know is how do you people rate them as for brand quality with the same API specs. Things like consumption problems, excessively expensive prices, etc. This will be for mineral oils, NOT SYNTHETICS. Will cross that bridge later on. Will mostly be 15W-40 wt oil. Would like to hear some opinions of actual users, and their experiences.I am not trying to start any brand war, just soliciting actual use experiences and opinion so we can look at it objectively. At the present we are using Chevron Delo 400, but looking at Shell Rotella, or possibly Citgo. Thanks. Gene Davis
