Not to long ago I ran into a question like yours on a truck forum. It started a war. I heard good and bad things about every oil that is out there, until one person said the only way to found out what is the best oil to use, you need to use the different types of oil and figure out which one out performs the other. So what i would do is, put a different oil brand in each engine at the same time, when it is time to service the engine compare the different brand and choose which one to use in all the engines. That is what i did.
